Chinese researchers have developed TongGeometry, an AI that can generate and solve olympiad-level geometry problems, rivaling top human competitors. The system uses neuro-symbolic techniques and large language models, creating a repository of billions of problems, with over half showing symmetry traits. It successfully solved all problems in a standard benchmark (IMO-AG-30) in under an hour using consumer-grade hardware.
